About Choice Bits from Mark Twain: Selections From the Elmira College Collection
The exhibition features important artifacts and manuscripts that are very rarely available for public viewing, including a very early example of his work as a humorist, his marginal comments in volumes from Quarry Farm and a letter written one month before his death. The event is designed to give context to these sometimes poignant, frequently humorous and occasionally eccentric items that allows a greater appreciation of the life and work of Mark Twain.
