New Professional Development Courses Now Offered at Elmira College

The Office of Continuing Education and Graduate Studies at Elmira College is now offering several new, non-credit professional development programs designed to assist working professionals in strengthening job skills and meeting continuing education requirements. 

First up is a series of one-day courses designed for those in, or looking to move into, a career in management. Courses in the three-course series include:

Each course can be taken as a stand-alone course, or as part of the three-course series. A discount applies when registering for all three courses. 

Those seeking the SHRM-CP℠ certification can now prepare for the globally-recognized human resources credential through the Office of Continuing Education and Graduate Studies at Elmira College, which was recently named the only SHRM provider throughout the Southern and Northern Tier Regions. The first course begins March 7, 2016. Recognized as the new standard for human resources professionals around the globe, this credential from the Society of Human Resources Management focuses on teaching and testing the practical, real-life information HR professionals need to excel in their careers.
