On Thursday, May 5 at 7:00 p.m., Active Minds and The Office of Retention & Advocacy sponsored a screening of the film My Depression in the Tripp Lecture Hall located in the lower level of the Gannett-Tripp Library. This event included a panel discussion and light refreshments.
My Depression is a critically acclaimed half-hour film that debuted on HBO in 2015. The film tells the personal story of Elizabeth Swados and her lifelong struggle with depression. Elizabeth -- a successful Broadway composer, writer and director -- uses her talents of music and storytelling to share her story and help others who may be struggling with emotional health conditions like depression.
