The Offices of Admissions and Financial Aid recently moved from the terrace level of Hamilton Hall (250 W. Washington Street) to, what has historically been, The President’s Home at 855 College Avenue.
Chris Coons, Vice President of Enrollment Management, is pleased with the move and the new opportunities it provides visiting students and their families.
“The move into the former President's Home is exciting and important for many reasons,” says Coons. “First and foremost, the grand entrance to this historic building makes an immediate first impression for all visitors, especially prospective students and parents. Additionally, every new student will have the opportunity to visit and see this beautiful building.”
The move also allows the two offices to better serve students and families.
“Bringing admissions and financial aid together into this space allows for deeper collaboration, teamwork, and a true enrollment management model,” says Coons. “This will allow us to develop a stronger relationship across both areas and provide a seamless process for incoming students.”
The new location provides office, meeting and interview space, as well as locations for hosting groups of students and their families for recruitment events such as the new [Fridays on the Lawn] program. The new street address is 855 College Avenue, Elmira, NY 14901. Parking is available in the circular drive in front of the building.
