Are you a high school senior? Still deciding to which colleges to apply? Flip through our recent Gold Key feature stories for an in-depth look at Elmira College from the eyes of current sophomore, junior, and senior students.
As Gold Keys, our campus tour guides and ambassadors, these students have the inside 4-1-1 on everything Elmira College from travel abroad, internship opportunities, favorite spots on campus, and much more. Here’s a preview of what they’ve shared with us over the past few weeks:
Sophomore Gold Keys – “A New Set of Keys”
Students describe why they chose Elmira College, share advice on transitioning from high school to college, and answer questions they receive while giving campus tours.
Junior Gold Keys – “Keys to Campus and College Life”
The Class of 2018 shares insights on the best places to be on campus, the faculty they admire, and the Elmira College traditions they love.
Senior Gold Keys – “Keys to the Future”
Before these students transition to alumni, they convey how travel abroad opportunities, internships, and how being a Gold Key have given them new skills and experiences for the future.
“Our Gold Keys are some of the best student leaders at Elmira College and have great insight into the college search process and benefits of an EC education. I encourage you to read through the various Gold Key stories to get a better sense of Elmira College and why the students feel it’s a great place to live and learn,” said Chris Coons, Vice President of Enrollment Management. “Additionally, your holiday break is a great time to submit an application for admission, if you haven't already done so. We look forward to receiving that application, learning more about you, and working with you as you make this important decision.”
While the Office of Admissions is closed for the holidays (12/23-1/1), you can submit your application to Elmira College online at anytime. Once the application is submitted, you will receive a personalized link which allows you to follow the progress of your application. Following the holiday break, the Office of Admissions can be reached at (800) 935-6472 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
