Pianist Molly Scott, Ed. D., LMHC Free Concert

Dr. Molly Scott whose mother graduated from Elmira College in 1928 will be visiting Elmira College on March 22, 2013. Molly is a renowned voice therapist and pianist who has graciously offered to give a free concert, opened to the public. Concert time is 2-4PM in Hamilton Great Hall. 

Molly will be focusing on the music in her mother’s era-songs from the 20’s, 30’s and wartime such as “I’ll be seeing you, White Cliffs of Dover” and a montage of songs that people can sing along. 

As a musician, performer and recording artist, Dr. Molly Scott has devoted her performing and songwriting career to supporting issues of peace and social justice. Dr. Scott has focused her clinical work and research on the role that vocal resonance plays in the healing process, particularly in the treatment of trauma.
