Elmira College Announces New Faculty Member

Sydney Peck has joined the Elmira College faculty as a tenure track professor of Nurse Education. Professor Peck is a doctoral candidate at Texas Women’s University and holds a graduate certificate in Women’s Studies. Her current research is focused on the experience of patients with chronic pain establishing trust with healthcare providers. 

Prior to coming to Elmira College, Professor Peck taught nursing at the University of Oklahoma, Langston University and Tulsa Community College. Professor Peck resides in Corning, New York with her husband James and son Alex.
