Dr. Corey McCall, Assistant Professor of Philosophy and Religion, recently served as a discussant and moderator for two sessions at the annual meeting of the Society for the Advancement of American Philosophy at Fordham University. He also presented a paper entitled “Indeterminacies: Of Madness, Animality, and Theatricality in Foucault's History of Madness and J.M. Coetzee’s Lives of Animals” at the annual meeting of the Foucault Circle at Canisius College. His review of Robert Pippin’s Hegel on Self-Consciousness: Desire and Death in “The Phenomenology of Spirit” appeared in the April, 2012 edition of Philosophy in Review.
Dr. Mary Jo Mahoney, Associate Professor of English, recently had her works “Washington Avenue” and “From Persecution, Delusions” accepted for publication in Issue #10 of Sentence, a journal of prose poetics.
