Criminal Justice Curriculum

Bachelor of Science (S. B.)

This program is designed to help in transforming public concern about crime into meaningful social action. Students acquire the broad educational base in the social sciences needed for work in the justice system through general college degree requirements, a strong interdisciplinary criminal justice program, and opportunities for related field experience.

Emphasis is given to the interrelated components of the justice process: social conditions, law enforcement, courts, community-based programs, and corrections.

In addition to the required number of credits needed to complete the major, all students must also fulfill the general degree requirements in order to graduate.
