Bachelor of Arts (A. B.) or Bachelor of Science (S. B.)

In addition to the required number of credits needed to complete the major, all students must also fulfill the general degree requirements in order to graduate.

	Five American content courses approved by faculty in American Studies to assure a thematic or disciplinary coherence. (At least two of these must be at the 3000 level or above.)	15.0
	One course in either European or Non-Western Culture and Civilization beyond those required by the General Education Program of the College.	3.0
