Graduate Advanced Certificates in
Management
Each certificate provides a
pathway of expertise in a specialty area of management. The courses
are commonly applied to a Master of Science degree in Management. A
certificate will be awarded to students who successfully complete
all 15 credits with a minimum of a 3.000 grade point average. All
courses must be completed within a seven-year period.

A graduate certificate program designed to prepare individuals
to administer, design and/or conduct training for adults. The
Training of Trainers program prepares individuals to provide
training for employees in business, industry, health, and
non-profit institutions.
The popular Advanced Certificate in Training of Trainers is a six credit hour, stand-alone program that offers an accelerated format for working adults. Once earned, the six credits may also be applied towards the Masters Degree. The program is offered in two consecutive terms.

A graduate certificate program designed to survey the
philosophy, theories, principles, and models of Human Resource
Development and their interrelationship to the organization as a
whole. The Human Resource Development program helps individuals
increase their competency in planning, implementing, and managing
HRD functions with emphasis on the education of adults.
The certificate is a 15 credit hour, stand- alone program. Once earned, the 15 credits may also be applied towards the Masters Degree. Training of Trainers graduates will get credit for AED 5020 towards the HRD Certificate.

Mark Twain Studies Advanced
Certificate
This graduate certificate program will result in greater
appreciation and understanding of Mark Twain, his life, his works,
and his times. Participation in the certificate program's courses,
symposia, and conferences will expose students to a variety of
viewpoints and approaches as well as permit in-depth work with
distinguished Elmira College faculty and scholars in residence at
the Elmira College Center for Mark Twain Studies at Quarry Farm.
