Master of Science in Health Services Management

Understanding the American Health Care System and developing a
better understanding of the legal, ethical, and financial issues
within the healthcare industry can improve your decision-making
abilities and increase your influence. Designed for individuals
with aspirations to enter this field or advance their careers in
health services, this degree and certificate program is comprised
of performance-based learning experiences intended to develop the
essential knowledge and skill competencies required for health
service managers.
Employment of medical and health services managers is expected
to grow faster than average (increase 18 to 26 percent) for all
occupations through 2014, as the health care industry continues to
expand and diversify. Job opportunities will be especially good in
offices of health practitioners, general medical and surgical
hospitals, home health care services, and outpatient care centers.
