Grammar and Usage – A Practical Guide to Effective Communication

This course is geared for those who want to write and speak in a grammatically correct manner for the purpose of being a more effective communicator. The course combines short lectures highlighting the basic rules of grammar and usage, presentations of examples of effective writing, and culminating in a series of practical exercises. This course is designed for the beginning spreadsheet user. You will learn how to organize, analyze, and present data using Microsoft® Excel® 2010.
Topics include:

This course is designed for the intermediate spreadsheet user. You will learn advanced techniques covering the organization, analysis, and presentation of data using Microsoft® Excel® 2010. Topics include:
- analyzing alternative data sets;
- creating dynamic workbooks by using PivotTables;
- creating charts and graphics;
- printing techniques;
- an introduction to macros for workbook automation;
- working with other Microsoft® Office® programs;
- an introduction to collaboration with colleagues.
Practical workplace applications of spreadsheets will be presented and discussed.
