To progress in the Nurse Education Program a minimum grade of “C” (73) must be achieved in each required nursing course. When a course contains a clinical component, a grade of "C" (73) or better in the theory portion and a "P" (Pass) in the clinical portion must be achieved in order to progress to the next required nursing course. A required nursing course may be repeated only once. No more than two different required nursing courses may be repeated. |

*Required of non-licensed students only. To
progress into the first required nursing course, students
must earn a minimum of a "C" (2.0) in each course taken for
a computable grade in freshman year.
**Students with RN status take the 3 credit NSG 4110 course. |

Students must
meet health requirements based on State and agency
standards. Prior to graduation, non-licensed students are
required to take a NCLEX review course, at their own
expense, which is arranged by the Program. Additional
expenses and policies specific to the Nurse Education
Program are in the Nurse Education Program Student
Handbook.
NOTE: An applicant who has been convicted of a crime may
not be eligible for licensure as a Registered Professional
Nurse. For information, contact the state in which you
desire licensure.
