Transfer Orientation

We recognize that as a transfer student you already have much of the knowledge that will help you navigate this next segment of your college career. However since every college is a little bit different, we think that it is important that we work to quickly acquaint you with how to succeed at Elmira.  Our three-day Transfer Orientation program, goes beyond you just meeting with your advisor and registering for classes. Orientation Leaders will show you the College campus from the students' point of view. Transfer students can also participate in the Candlelight Ceremony which demonstrates the beauty and excitement of our time-honored traditions.

Our goal is to help you get to know Elmira College and make it your new home.

Please send your final transcripts to the Office of Admissions as soon as possible. This will make the whole experience of advising and course selection a lot quicker and smoother.
