Visit

The best way to see if Elmira College is the perfect College for you is to be here!

Experience for yourself what it is like to live, learn, and develop as a valued member of our College community. You can choose the visit option that works best for you.  Whether it is going on a campus tour with one of our student tour guides, sitting in on a class, supporting current students at a sporting event or a theatre performance, or spending the night in one of our residence halls with a current student, we are happy to create an individualized visit to match your interests. Discover first hand how you can share in a tradition that transforms lives.

Online Tour

Before you come to campus, we invite you to check out our virtual tour. This narrated tour will give you an idea of what our campus looks like and even show you a few stops that are not on our regular campus tour.

Campus Tours

If you are looking for a more personal visit, and we hope that you are, our daily campus tours are the ideal option for you. The Office of Admissions offers student led tours Monday-Friday at 9:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. Tours and information sessions are available on select Saturdays.

Interviews

An interview is an informal, one-on-one conversation with a member of the Admissions team.  This is your opportunity to have all of your questions about EC answered as well as our opportunity to get to know you. Interviews may be scheduled before or after your campus tour.

Admissions Events

Whether you come for a traditional Open House, one of our Major Specific Days built to give you an in-depth look at our academic programs, or a more relaxed Drop In Day program where you are able to design your visit based on what you would like to see, attending an admissions program is your chance to connect with the College community.

Day Visits & Overnights

Spend the day as an Elmira College student attending classes, participating in activities, and enjoying a few meals in the campus dining hall. The overnight visit program allows prospective student the opportunity to spend the night in one of our residence halls, hosted by a current student. Please plan your stay at least two weeks in advance to ensure that we are able to make the necessary arrangements.
