Looking to transfer? Elmira College loves transfer students. EC welcomes applications from qualified students who wish to transfer from two- or four-year institutions. We work on a rolling basis and review applications for both Fall and Winter terms. Don't wait, visit us to learn more.Transfer student eligibility
- Ability to transfer up to 90 credit hours towards Bachelor’s Degree
- Must have at least a 2.0 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale
- Must be in good academic and social standing with all institutions attended Confidential Report for Students form
Credit Evaluation maybe completed upon request at anytime
Transfer Credit Articulation Agreements exist with TC3, BCC and CCC
Transfer Honor Scholarships are available
Transfer Honor Scholarships
$15,000 per year awarded with a combined cumulative GPA at all colleges previously attended of 3.3 or higher
Achievement Scholarship for Transfer Students
$8,000 per year awarded with a combined cumulative GPA at all colleges previously attended of 3.0 – 3.29
Transfer Credit Articulation Agreements exist with TC3, BCC and CCC

Amber Crouthamel joined the Admissions team in the Fall of 2010. Born and raised in Horseheads, NY, Amber graduated from SUNY Binghamton with a Master’s of Science degree in Student Affairs Administration. Amber started her college career at Corning Community College where she earned an Associate's of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and decided to continue with her education by transferring to Mansfield University where she earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Resources.
Amber is directly responsible for introducing prospective transfer students to the great educational opportunities at EC and guiding them through the admissions process. As a former transfer student herself, she will work with you every step of the way.
