Speidel Gymnasium

Completed in 1956, this building was given by Lillian Emerson '32. It houses the theatre and physical education facilities. As part of a major $10 million dollar capital campaign, Emerson Hall was expanded in Fall 1995. The new building now serves several different and wonderful aspects of Campus.

The renovation and addition of the Speidel Gymnasium has enhanced the quality of athletics and physical education facilities on campus. It houses the Soaring Eagles Department of Athletics Staff, the gymnasium, the swimming pool and Fitness Center, Handball - Racquetball courts, and meeting rooms.

The Julia Reinstein Bell Tower is one of the distinct features of this building. The songs played from the bell tower can be heard campus-wide and signal many of the College's traditions throughout the year.
