The position requires doctoral preparation with emphasis on adolescence education, teaching certification in one of the 7-12 areas: biology, chemistry, English, math, and social studies and teaching experience in 7-12 schools. Teaching assignments include undergraduate courses in Foundations of Education, Curriculum Design, Instruction, and Assessment (7-12), and Methods of Teaching (7-12). Some supervision of student teachers may also be needed. Experience in in high-needs schools with diverse populations desirable.
