Two Elmira College Students Recognized at Model UN Conference

Recently, two Elmira College students were recognized as Outstanding Delegates at the Brown University Crisis Simulation 2013. Katie Thompson ’14 and Bobby Killmer ’15 represented Elmira College in the conference, and both were honored for their participation in their respective simulations. Katie was a delegate for Ukraine in the Russia-NATO joint crisis in the NATO: 2025 simulation, and Bobby was a representative of France in the simulation A Game of Thrones: The 100 Years War. The Outstanding Delegate award is chosen by the chairs of the committees for each simulation, and is given to the delegates that the committee sees as well spoken, well researched, and able to keep calm and focused during intense debate.
