Elmira College students and faculty once again exemplified the College tradition of community service. At the end of the academic year, students and faculty have the option to donate the remaining money on their meal cards to the Elmira Community Kitchen. This May, the Elmira College community presented a gift of $1,000. This will help the Community Kitchen not only with the cost of food, but the operating costs required to run the volunteer organization. For over 25 years, the College has been providing local organizations with donations from students and staff. This excellent tradition demonstrates Elmira College’s commitment to the entire community.
