Dr. Allyson Graf, Assistant Professor of Psychology, recently presented her research at the 68th annual meeting of the Gerontological Society of America held in Orlando, FL from November 18 through November 22. Dr. Graf's research examined short-term fluctuation in personal health perceptions and determined that regardless of age, self-assessments of health exhibit consistent daily patterns of change. She hopes to continue this line of research to explore how perceptions of health are influenced by positive and negative daily events and the implications this has on long-term health outcomes.
