Henderson was named Elmira's representative for Empire 8 Sportsman of the Year after a strong senior campaign. A consummate teammate both on and off the court, Henderson was one of the Empire 8 Conference's best sharp shooters, amassing 63 three-pointers, which were sixth-most in the league during the regular season. The senior finishes his career 11th all-time in program history for career three-pointers with 126.
The Staten Island, NY, native had 10 games in which he scored double-digit points, which included a season-high 25-point effort against Stevens in the conference opener. Henderson knocked down at least one triple in 21 of his 25 appearances on the year, while he sent in three-or-more in 13 of those contests. His season high for shots from distance came in the prodigious effort against the Ducks in which he went 7-for-16 from behind the arc. Help Henderson put the cherry on top of his excellent career in Purple and Gold and vote the most memorable shot of his career the 2016 GEICO Play of the Year!
