Arts Alive 2016: George Waters Gallery Exhibition

In celebration of Arts Alive 2016 the George Waters Gallery exhibition opening March 10 at 5:00 p.m. for March features the winners of last year's Arts Alive Regional Juried Show: Ron Faris (photographer), Connie Zehr (installation artist), Elizabeth McMahon (abstract painter) and Bob Ievers (realist painter). Connie Zehr will give an informal artist talk at 6:00 p.m. about her sand and glass installation. Other artists will be available to talk about their work as well.

The reception from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. is free and open to the public. Those who cannot make the reception can visit the gallery during regular gallery hours: Monday - Saturday, Noon to 4:00 pm from March 10 through April 8.

Arts Alive at Elmira College is a Term II celebration of the arts that features presentations, performances, and exhibitions by faculty, students and special guests.  Many forms of art are represented in the celebration, including the fine arts, the performing arts, music, and the application of art within various disciplines such as math and science.
